2012 Presidential Election

Joe Biden: Plagiarizer-In-Chief

Joe Biden: A man of few (honest) words

As we prepare for tonight’s debate between VP Joe Biden and VP Candidate Paul Ryan, I thought it might make things more interesting if we knew a little bit more about the sanctimonious gaffe-master who is one heartbeat away from becoming Commander-in-Chief.

Joe Biden is the perfect running mate for Barack Obama.  Not because the two men have characteristics that complement one another; not because his 36 years in the US Senate add experience and credibility to relative newcomer, Obama; not because the two men share the same radical, Marxist, redistributive ideologies.

No, what makes Joe Biden the perfect man to stand with the President is…he’s every bit as polished a liar as the Saul Alinsky disciple and former community organizer, Barack Obama.

My first exposure to Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was in 1991.  At that time, Biden chaired the prestigious Senate Judiciary Committee during the Clarence Thomas Supreme Court confirmation hearings.

Aside from my inability to pull my eyes away from one of the worst hair plug jobs I’d ever seen in my young life, the thing I remember most about Joe Biden was his lead role in the character assassination and public lynching of one of the most honorable Black Americans alive today.

Joe ‘Plugs’ Biden points angrily at Clarence Thomas during the Senate Judiciary Hearings

Exhibiting a partisan shamelessness unlike anything I had ever seen, Senator Biden launched pointed question after pointed question at Clarence Thomas.  He hurled insults, unfounded accusations, and sarcasm-laden diatribes at Justice Thomas, who endured the shameful spectacle with the dignity and grace we have come to expect from him.  Biden literally spent three days leading the despicable charge to discredit a brilliant, decent, fair-minded black man—simply because he didn’t like his politics.  (In truth, the motivation behind these disgusting attacks was the left’s attempt to destroy someone who they saw as a potential threat to Roe v. Wade)

I’ve hated Joe Biden ever since.  And the more I learn about the man, the more I discover my judgment is sound.

Throughout Joe Biden’s life, he’s had a history of struggling with honesty.  During his first year of law school, Biden was accused of plagiarizing several pages of a law review article he had supposedly written and received an F in the course, as a result.  After ‘weaseling’ his way out of the charges by claiming ignorance of the proper rules of citation, he was allowed to retake the course, and had the F dropped from his academic record.

In 1987, during one of his failed runs at the Democratic nomination for President, Biden found himself in another plagiarism scandal—having stolen several lines from a speech by British Labour Party leader, Neil Kinnock and incorporating them into his own campaign speech.  Beyond the plagiarism, Biden went further and distorted his family’s history and background to make it match Kinnock’s. (distorting family history…another thing he and Obama seem to have in common)

It was soon discovered that Biden had also stolen passages from speeches given by Robert Kennedy, John F. Kennedy, and Hubert Humphrey, using them in some of his other campaign speeches.  As these issues came to light, Biden’s dishonest past came back to haunt him as his law school plagiarism became public.

As his Democratic opponents began to smell blood, they delved into Biden’s academic past and discovered several other documented lies told by Biden.  In one example of his aptitude for fabrication, Biden was videotaped bragging to some of his New Hampshire constituents about his academic record, stating that he had graduated in the “top half” of his law school class, that he had attended law school on a full scholarship, and that he had received three degrees during his undergraduate studies.

As it turned out, none of these claims were true.  He had, in fact, earned a single B.A. degree with a double major in history and poli-sci, he had received ½ scholarship to law school, not for academic achievement (he graduated 506th of 688 in his class), but because he claimed financial hardship, and he ended up graduating 76th in his law school class of 85.  (Joe has a little trouble with math…he thinks JOBS is a 3-letter word)

Exposed Liar, Joe Biden, announcing his withdrawal from the race for the Democratic Presidential nomination in 1987

With his dishonesty out in the open, Biden had no choice but to withdraw from the race for the Democratic nomination, and returned to doing what he does best—living off the American people as a career politician.

Given Joe Biden’s history of lies and deceit, it might make one question the judgment of Barack Obama when he chose Biden as his running mate.  However, when you consider that the truth simply doesn’t matter to the community organizer-in-chief, it’s no surprise that he is most comfortable surrounding himself with like-minded storytellers and people of equal character, like Plugs Biden.

Enjoy the debate.  Just try not to look at Biden’s hair.

  1. Great article, RedPillReport! Another example of the LOW moral character possessed by the leadership in our country. The office of President of the United States (as well as VP) should be held by people with dignity and honor. The problem is that it is held by politicians. Difficult for dignity and honor to find when looking at politicians. Romney and Ryan aren’t perfect and there are things about each that aren’t ideal. However, they are two men who I feel try to live their lives with dignity and honor. They may have different views on some things than I have, but I feel that they are trying to do what is best. Obama and Biden give no such impression. Every time they open their mouths, it seems like they are trying to get themselves out of trouble by lying or create trouble by lying. They are dirty, slimy, dishonest, trashy (I could go on and on). Let’s hope Ryan can continue the beat down of our current POTUS-Vice POTUS team.

  2. I remember the Clarence Thomas hearings. If any republican had treated a black democrat the way Joe Biden and others treated Clarence Thomas, their political careers would have been over. Plain and simple. Yet here Biden is, having reached the second highest position in the land in the only way he could–by being selected by one man for the position. We need a new administration. This one has lied itself into so many corners, there surely has to be no way for them to get out intact.
