Ross Murty, a Republican, was on hand to cater to the members of the national press on Wednesday during a stop by President Obama in Davenport, Iowa.

Ross Murty, a Davenport Iowa caterer, was hired by the White House Travel Office to feed the press corps (yes, corps…Mr. President. Not ‘corpse’) traveling with the Obama campaign. Murty, a Republican, clearly didn’t appreciate the anti-business comments made by Obama when he stated at a July 13 campaign stop in Virginia, “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
As he stood and served food to the press, Murty proudly posed for pictures in a navy blue shirt with bold, white letters displaying the words “Government Didn’t Build My Business, I Did.” The shirt featured a Mitt Romney logo below the phrsase.
Thin-skinned Obama has never been one to take criticism well. If I was Mr. Murty, I’d make sure all of my financial documentation is in order. I’d be surprised if the IRS doesn’t show up soon.
More on this from the Des Moines Register.

Three cheers for Mr. Murty. Hoorah! Hoorah! Hoorah!
