The following is a list of some of the more visible and influential figures in American society along with their estimated net worth (according to CelebrityNetWorth.com). These are individuals who have openly endorsed and supported Barack Obama and his economic policies – the same policies that call for the “1%-ers” to spread some of the wealth around to the rest of us “99%-ers.”

Personally, I don’t plan on waiting around for a check to come in the mail from any of these individuals. Barack Obama was clearly only talking about those OTHER “1%-ers.” You know… the men and women who took some risks and worked tirelessly to build their own successful businesses – businesses that provide jobs to countless Americans.
Oh, wait! My bad! I should have listened more carefully to our current president. As he so articulately put it, “If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

The funny thing is, this 1% owe their success to all of the average people in the country who pay the salaries of these people through ticket purchases, votes, etc.
Posted by Gladys | July 18, 2012, 9:59 pmWow, I’m glad to know that at least these 1%ers are on my side. Not with their money, but with other peoples’ money. Thanks, guys!
Posted by Spencer | July 18, 2012, 10:46 pmOoh, I really wish I hadn’t watched all of those Spielberg movies growing up. We watched E.T. 8 times in the theater. Little did I know I was helping to bring about the biggest douche president in American history!
