Obama’s 2nd Term Fantasy: A Sneak Peek

What would a second Obama term look like?  No one knows…but I, for one, don’t want to find out.  In Barack Obama’s perfect world…perhaps the scenario would look something like this.

Barack Obama, unencumbered by that smothering prospect of facing re-election, is now free to lead America toward the utopia he has always envisioned.

During Obama’s 2^nd term, Justices Ginsburg, Breyer, and Kennedy will all retire from the Supreme Court…giving Barack Obama three 2nd term opportunities to stack the Supreme Court with three additional radical socialists.  This would mean Barack Obama, the most liberal President in American history, would be responsible for 5 of the 9 Supreme Court  justices. And unlike the right-leaning justices, liberals on the court stay true to their radical socialist ideologies—regardless of the constitutionality of the decisions they face.

In an even worse scenario, Justice Scalia, the second oldest judge and longest-tenured member of the court, tries to hold out until after Obama’s 2^nd term.  However, his health fails him and he is forced to retire, leaving Obama with a sixth vacancy to fill during his administration.

As ObamaCare (ObamaTax) is implemented, along with the President’s job-killing energy policies and over-regulation of industry, the economy goes from horrible to catastrophic.  Unemployment leaps to 20%…and continues plodding upward.  Additionally, millions more find themselves underemployed…as businesses convert full-time jobs into multiple part-time positions in order to avoid the full expense of healthcare, putting the burden back on the individual and the state and federal budgets.

As wages continue to plummet, more foreclosures result as the unemployed and underemployed can no longer make their mortgage payments.  Already sluggish, new home construction grinds to a halt as millions of foreclosed homes flood the market–selling for a fraction of what they were worth a few years ago.  More small businesses close.  Hundreds of thousands of construction workers and building materials manufacturers find themselves hanging out at the entrances of Lowes and Home Depot hoping to hire themselves out as day laborers at minimum wage.  Fewer and fewer homeowners, many of whom are dreadfully upside down in their own mortgages, have the money to take on home improvement projects in order to improve their living conditions.  This leaves fewer ‘handy-man’ jobs to go around.

Crime goes through the roof as unemployed Americans find themselves competing alongside illegal immigrants at the entrances of home improvement stores.  Desperate to bring home a few dollars to feed their hungry families, men turn violent as hundreds compete for a handful of jobs everyday.  Men begin bringing guns and knives with them to protect themselves, and when attacked, they use them.

Never one to let a good crisis go to waste, Obama seizes this opportunity and issues an executive order “temporarily” outlawing the ownership of all guns by private citizens.  The military is ordered to go door-to-door collecting all firearms.  Fearing a backlash from the military, Obama seeks the help of the UN, who sends 50,000 “Peacekeepers” to the United States to assist in the collection of private guns.  2^nd Amendment advocates file lawsuits, which eventually reach the Supreme Court…only to run into the wall of Obama appointees, who quickly declare the order constitutional by a 5 – 4 vote.

Emboldened, Obama issues more executive orders.  His next unilateral move is to declare that all illegal immigrants will immediately be granted voting rights, as well as a guarantee of healthcare, education, and government assistance with food and housing.  Instantly, 10+ million illegal immigrants become registered Democrats.  This new infusion of loyal leftist pawns spreads out and relocates to each of the swing states, where their newfound political clout instantly tips the partisan balance to the Democrat side.  They are convinced by the Obama regime that without them doing their part to ensure Democrat victories at the polls, Republicans will surely revoke these newfound “entitlements.”

With these new guarantees in place, illegal immigrants flood our borders well beyond our capacity to stop them.  Dozens of border patrol agents are killed in the line of duty as desperate, previously-deported criminals see opportunities to exploit the chaotic US with drugs and crime.  New lawsuits are filed, which meet with the same fate in the Supreme Court as the ban on privately-owned guns.

Chief Justice John Roberts

Frustrated by the corruption within the nation’s highest court, and in a move that drips with irony, Chief Justice Roberts, who bent over for the President on ObamaCare, resigns from the bench in protest.  This gives Obama the opportunity to appoint yet another liberal judge to the court.

Obama’s next order bans banks and lending institutions from evicting people from their foreclosed homes.  Further, banks are required to open up all vacant homes to illegal immigrants, with no expectation of any rent.  This move causes millions to support the President as they come to the realization that they must vote Democrat in order to maintain their newly-accepted freeloader status. By a vote of 6 – 3, the Supreme Court upholds this, and several more of Obama’s dictatorial executive orders.

Justices Thomas and Alito, now facing an impossible liberal majority on the court, resign out of complete frustration.  Obama’s complete takeover of the Judicial Branch of the Federal government is complete.  He now controls two of the three branches himself.

The President declares all opposition to his executive orders “hate speech.” He issues a ban on conservative talk radio, Fox News, and conservative ‘new media.’  He appoints a czar to work with the FCC and Google to identify all conservative online opposition, and gives an ultimatum that activity cease immediately, or arrests will be made.  Websites and blogs that don’t immediately comply are shut down and wiped clean, and bloggers and journalists are arrested.  Incentives are established to encourage people to ‘rat out’ friends, family, and neighbors who continue to voice opposition.

US Troops are pulled out of Afghanistan.  In a move he claims will help the economy, Obama orders the size of the military dramatically slashed.  The Commander-In-Chief orders the disbanding of all reserve units—deeming them unnecessary.   He also cuts the number of active duty military by 50%, adding approx. 1.5 million Americans to the ranks of the unemployed.

Iran has the bomb!

After witnessing the neutering of the US Military, Iran goes public with the nuclear weapons program Obama ignored during his entire first term. Iran acknowledges that they have several medium-range ballistic missiles pointed at Israel.  Bolstered by a nuclear Iran, Israel’s enemies begin an all-out assault.  Car bombs and suicide bombs become daily events.  Thousands of Israeli’s are butchered.  Tens of thousands flee the country as the inevitability of nuclear strikes becomes apparent.  Palestinians flood Jerusalem, destroying Israeli businesses, desecrating Jewish icons, and raping and killing those who have remained.

Obama publicly denounces the violence, while supporting the Palestinians and Iran behind the scenes in an effort to shore up allies in the region.  Obama’s indifference toward the sovereign Israeli state, which was made quite clear during his first term, has led to its destruction during his second term.

As the already-unstable Middle East completely destabilizes, and Israeli refugees flood European countries, markets around the world collapse…which leads to the complete collapse of the US market.  Anarchy ensues, leading to a period of extreme violence and crime.

Obama declares a state of emergency, imposes martial law, and suspends the elections of 2016 indefinitely.  He calls upon the UN to send troops to the United States to help restore order.  Outspoken conservatives protest, and are arrested and jailed as enemies of the state.  Members of the House and Senate who oppose Obama are arrested and charged with treason.

New Black Panthers Gestapo

Obama declares the New Black Panthers a legal militia, and provides them with many of the weapons no longer in use by the scaled-down military.  He appoints them as his US version of the Nazi Gestapo, and tasks them with “rounding up” all outspoken critics of his “interim, emergency government.”  They are authorized to use deadly force against anyone who resists, and they become nothing more than a brutal hit squad.

As the final nail in the coffin of our Constitutional Republic, Obama (with the support of the Supreme Court and the UN) begins executing enemies of the state in an American version of Hitler’s “blood purge.”  Obama now has control of all three branches of government, and convenes a Constitutional Convention where terrified members of the House and Senate vote to toss out our 240-year-old form of government, and appoint Barack Hussein Obama as our supreme leader in a new fascist, totalitarian regime. Now he can really begin to get things done for the American people.

Of course, none of this could ever happen.  Just ask the Germans.

Mitt Romney

I’m thinking we might as well just play it safe and elect Mitt Romney in an overwhelming landslide this November.  After all, I kinda like the government our founding fathers gave to us.
