Sex-Selective Abortion? Not in America, right? [VIDEO]

Someone please tell me I’m having a bad dream.  Please reassure me and tell me the greatest nation in the history of the world has not morally and ethically deteriorated to the point where we equate our unborn daughters with cancer, tumors, or unwanted cellulite–something to be surgically ‘removed’ from the body of their mother, nurturer, protector…and thrown out with the other medical waste.

It’s horrific enough that we have embraced the sickening practice of killing any inconvenient unborn child.  How much more abominable is it to wait until the sex of the child can be determined…and then kill the baby because it is not what you had hoped for?

I’ve heard the hollow argument for years that I just can’t afford to care for this child or This baby would ruin my career or prevent me from getting my education.  Can someone tell me how these excuses could possibly support killing the baby simply because it’s a girl???

A baby boy will be just as inconvenient.  A baby boy will create the same challenges presented by caring for a baby girl.  There is no justification for this reprehensible practice.

These children are not fish…to be thrown back if you don’t catch the one you want!  These are daughters, future sisters, sweethearts, wives, and mothers!

I have sons.  I have to wonder if some selfish person has killed one of my sons’ future sweetheart…his soulmate…the beautiful woman he would have fallen in love with and had a family of his own.  How dare you play God and destroy the life of one of His daughters…simply because you were hoping for a son.

Please pinch me and wake me up!  This nightmare is too terrible to endure.  I’m so glad we would never tolerate such an atrocity in America.  Surely congress wouldn’t allow this to happen.
